The Golden Age of Consumer Brands is Here

We’re moving past the era of “bland” brands, and AI + robotics are setting the stage for a new wave of consumer innovation. Here’s why this moment is huge:

🔥 Consumer = Culture – What we buy shapes who we are. Expect more identity-driven brands.

Easier to Start, Harder to Scale – Anyone can launch a brand, but growth is the real challenge. Rising ad costs + competition mean strategy matters more than ever.

🤖 AI is Lowering Barriers – More automation, smarter insights, and better access to knowledge = fewer operational headaches.

🏗️ The Rise of New Builders – AI shifts the job landscape, pushing more people toward entrepreneurship. Consumer brands might just become the “new family restaurant.”

💎 Craft & Storytelling Win – As mass production gets even cheaper, expect a resurgence in handmade, high-quality goods. Story-driven brands will thrive (luxury goods prove this).

🔮 Opportunities in Volatility – Yes, things feel chaotic. But change = opportunity. More media consumption could create fresh ad channels for brands to break through.

Bottom line? The best time to build is now. Run toward the change. 🏃💨

If you sell on Amazon and use affiliate links, you're leaving SERIOUS money on the table

**After 12 years on Amazon, I’m sharing my insights to help brands improve profit margins.

Join me here for 100 Days of Amazon Profit Hacks 💰 - Day 2/100**

Many 7 and 8-figure brands have their own Amazon Associates account. Others rely on affiliate partners to bring traffic to Amazon.

And if you're not sure, ask your marketing person to check your PR, YouTube, Socials, TikTok partners, blog, etc.

If you or your affiliate partners earn commissions from Amazon, it's likely through an Amazon Associates account.

I mean who wouldn't hasn't used Amazon Associates at some point? The program has been around for nearly 29 years.

Here's the thing, over time Amazon has squeezed affiliate commission rates to low single digits for most product categories.

Not such a lucrative channel anymore.

HERE'S WHAT TO DO:

First, enroll in Amazon's Brand Referral Bonus (available to all brands with Brand Registry).

The Brand Referral Bonus program provides a great rebate on future selling fees. This rebate applies to purchases made via an attribution link.

For most categories, the payout is 10% of the sales price for items over $10.

Next, change all affiliate and Amazon Associates links to Amazon Attribution links. These should be tied to the Brand Referral Bonus.

Yes, even the third-party affiliates and influencers you work with (tip: split the profit difference with them).

Here are some examples:
