There is so much incorrect information going around about Klaviyo's active profile email going around... I'm going to clear it all up, and drop suppression segment recommendations.
1. This is not a price increase
2. Klaviyo has had profile limits that weren't enforced. Yes it was confusing, yes this fixes it.
3. The max amount plan costs go up will be 25%.
4. You have until February 18th to fix this.
5. Klaviyo also released flex sending which removes the need to constantly increase or decrease your plan.
We've identified segments that we think are clonable to all accounts and can be used pretty broadly. Our goal is to clean "enough" but not go too crazy on it as even the most savvy email marketers can wreck a list cleaning.
The first two you can straight up copy and they will provide the biggest volume.. If you want to make sure you don't lose any previous purchasers, just add in a condition of "Placed Order equal to 0 over all time"
The last two require slightly more nuance.. We create the "Global Engagement Exclusion - 10 emails" with 10, 15, or 20 emails and see where the breakdown of profiles is.
